The first official publicly accessible Detroit Windmill can be found in Detroit at the Eastern Market. Among it's many features is a charging station, bluetooth connectivity, wifi access, and 24-Hour Livestream. This innovative invention was designed and produced by Carlos Nielbock in Detroit.
Carlos Nielbock is a master architectural ornamental metal and design artist, engineer, inventor, and craftsman. Specializing in ornamental metal fabrication and restoration in Detroit, his magnificent work is part of the celebrated Fox Theatre restoration and his installations – massive, self-sustaining windmills and stunning ornamental metalworks, can be seen outside of his workhouse in Detroit’s Eastern Market district. Neibock produces designs, concepts and specifications by utilizing Old World craftsmanship. He is also President of CAN Art Handworks and Founder of Detroit Windmill.
